2.5 yrs ago. My boyfriend and I parted ways, I have a vehicle that has always been mine however when we were together I signed the title over to him. When we broke up he stated in an email he would sign the car back over to me (I still have this email) He did follow through and I picked up the title. Unfortunately I mislaced it. I would like to get everything fixed properly however I dont think hell sign over the title again. DoI have any way to work around that? The car has been in my possession ever since we parted ways.

Frankly, you need to find the title. Why did you not simply carry it to the tag office right away? Without that you'd have to hire a lawyer, sue him, and hope the judge believes you.
