Answer

"Full Custody" is not a term recognized under Florida law. You need to refine what you are looking to do.

Answer

Florida law does not use terms such as custody and visitation anymore. Courts are becoming less and less likely to allow one parent to have all of the time with the child, or have all of the decision-making ability. If the other parent is a violent criminal, it is more likely that you could severely limit their access to the child.

You should speak with a family law attorney in your area to discuss your options.
