I am buying a car with cash and putting the title in my name. My friend will be driving it however, and has had a DUI. If they get in an accident with my car, am i still liable even if they have there own insurance for the car and i just own the vehicle? Or do u recommend me putting them on the title? Or whats the best method when buying a car knowing someone with a DUI will be driving it from time to time? Should i have insurance on the car even though they might end up just having it as there car to drive? Thanks!

You're the person with the insurance policy and the exposure. Why on earth would you allow a compromised driver to expose you to such liability and then ask how to fake out the insurance company?
