if i am a tenant with a month-month lease & my landlord sends me a holdover notice,does he still have to hand deliver or send certified?

Answer

If the property is not in the City of New York, written notice may be given by certified mail or by hand delivery. If the property is in the City of New York, written notice must be served in the same manner as a Notice of Petition and Petition.
