My answer, given what little I know, is that yes, they can file criminal charges, but that would be weak; I'd luv to be there for that. If on the other hand you're talking about civil personal injury charges, that is a different story; more likely they sue you for any damages incurred from the incident, but the criminal charge scenario sounds weak.
