Question

I was in an accident, that was not my fault. the driver of the truck was passing in a no passing zone, in a company plow truck and had a suspended drivers license, this man supposedly had work privileges but his girlfriend was in the car(so how was he working). My daughter and i were not injured and my car is totaled. What should I do?

Answer

Report your claim to your car insurance company. Provide them with as much information regarding the collision as possible. They will contact the negligent driver's insurance company and, assuming that the other driver was at fault, with make arraignments with you to provide you with the fair market value of your vehicle.
