If my husband and I divorce we will live in two different states. My husband is from Mississippi and I am from Michigan. (married in Michigan) He travels for his job, is it possible to put restrictions on who can watch our son when my husband is working? Or who can be at the house when my son is there? Do I need any paperwork to prove why I don't want other individuals there when my son is there?

If the parties cannot agree on parenting time terms etc. the issue must be decided by the court. Parenting time issues will be referred to the FOC for investigation and recommendation. Once agreed to, or decided by the court, it is very difficult to change later.
