Question

Interested in buying a condo in the Hoboken area and want to know if the seller makes an agreement with a broker is that what my broker has to agree to in commission?

Answer

The seller typically pays the real estate commission so as the buyer I am not sure why this would be an issue for you; however, if there is a listing agreement in effect, that would set forth the commission agreed to between agent and seller. If you are purchasing a condo you should have legal representation. If you do not already have an attorney, you may call me at Keith A. Singer, Attorney At Law 732-749-3700.

Answer

similar to the last answer I do not know why you are concerned as the seller is responsible for this. However a brokers commission is governed by the listing agreement and the division between the listing agent and the selling agent is set forth in the listing agreement. I have handled condo's in Hoboken in the past and would be happy to represent you.
