Finding significant structural damage in our home that we purchased 1.5 yrs ago. Contractors say it clearly was present and was covered by sellers (new paint, new floors, new front door to cover the rot). Do I have a case?

You need to speak to a real estate attorney, we would need to see the sales agreement to see if you still have a right to hold the sellers to the repairs.
