If you are going to get married cosign on a car with what your married name would be and then do not get married do you still have rights to the car?
Im not a lawer but I think you committed a crime by not using your legal name. 2nd If you are the cosigner then you ultimately are responsible for the payments and your good credit rating. Why would you consider marrying a guy that needed a cosigner he is pretty immature. Listen to Dr. Laura she'll keep you from making stupid mistakes and maybe help you get married once and for life. Talk to an attorney about posession of the car.
